hey guys new to posting on this site. i have a 94 Toyota pickup with v6 7.5 3rd member. i bought a set of gears and locker off a guy 2 years ago from this site. he said they would fit and they don't. so now i have a set of gears and locker here that i have no clue what they are for. I do know they are 5.29 but thats it. cant find a part number how can i tell what toyota they are for..

Measure the ring gear size. There should be some kind of numbers on them.

 

Its 8inches across. But I still cant find any part numbers.

 

If it is 8" then it will fit the rear but not the ifs front. As for part numbers with the after market so big some mfg. Might not stamp number on them. Sounds stupid and probably is but it is what it is.

 

8" are used in solid axle fronts. 7.5 in IFS fronts. All 4wd rears are 8" too.

Yup, may just not have a part number.
