check craigslist. I see used 22re all the time on there. Might be different since i'm in st. louis but you never know. Even if you find a crap motor via craigslist you could put it on a stand and freshen it up before you install it. There's a couple posted here locally for like 2 or 3 hundred bucks and one newer one for 800. Search surrounding cities as well via craigslist.
