Wish I could By-Pass This

Iam dreading but have to replace water by-pass hose behind plenum on my 3vze this weekend. I do not want to pull off intake, but will be removing hood. I know this is a PITA. Any new tips you guys would help, otherwise I will break out the first aid kit. Ouch!

Everything is cramped on the 3vz. Makes it more fun to work on.

I was just thinking do I have to drain all coolant or just a small amount? The coolant is about a month old.

Just drain enough so the coolant level is below the bypass hose.

Well I replaced the front and rear by-pass hoses this morning. Took about an hour or so and removing hood made it alot easier. Some minor scrapes from fat sausage hands trying to get in there. Glad thats done mission acomplished.

Mine is bored 50 over, heads shaved 35, I love mine as well. Good low end torque yet slow enough on the top end to keep the disco lights outta my mirror.
