I just got this 87 4Runner and this was a original fuel injector the guy I got this from took it out and I was ok with well I got it here during the day and the carb would not ide at all the temp was in upper 80s well now it is 58.6 °F
the carb ide fine right now can you pleases give me some info thanks

 

The idle curcuit might be plugged or the idle solenoid may be bad or not getting power. It could be running on the fast idle and dieing when it goes to idle. I think i would check the solenoid first.

 

If the idle shut-off solenoid is bad or not getting power, the motor will not run at all. not even when on the fast idle cam. What confuses me about this post is the fact he said something about "original fuel injector" ??????? But overall the post reads really weird to being with.

was this truck originally fuel injected converted to carb? or are you saying it has the original carb not a weber, etc etc?
