Windshield wipers skipping?????

FNG here.... I have a 2000 t4r that I picked up a few months back...... I just bought some silblades and am having a problem with them skipping. When I say skipping I mean it skips a 2.5' strip on the drivers side halfway down the windshield. The drivers side only does it on the downward stroke. The passanger side misses about a 3.5 section upwards and downwards....... Im starting to think either the springs in the arms are worn out or the windshield needs to be replaced...... Any ideas???

try bending the arms a little bit at the part they are already bent at (up about 3/4 the way to the blade). this will put a little more force on the blade against the glass and hopefully get you fixed up. sometimes they will get tweaked from objects hitting them - like the car wash propellers.

You want the normal blade, not the flex blade...Texas Ace had a similar issue with his:
