I'm going with Marlin. The man who invented the first Toyota crawler and I feel that he has the best kit. Read this...

My buddy had a marlin adapter blow up on him going in a straight line in the snow, after having it installed for a while. One of the bearings gernaded itself which in turn took out his crawlbox and 2.28 gears. Luckly his 4.7's were okay.

Anyways he didn't have his receipt so marlin wouldn't replace it or i believe discount him on a new adapter..

Therefore he ended up buying a Trail gear adapter for super cheap and running one of Marlin's newer bearings in place of the TG bearing.

Myself, i will go with marlin for my tranfercase upgrades. I might follow my buddy and use TG w/marlin bearings if i can, but if not i will run marlin..

Now for that v6 adapter plate, i don't think it matters and i could run the TG v6 adapter plate to save some money.
