Question What timing chain kit to use.

I have a 92 22re pickup 4x4 and the timing chain is starting to make some noise so I want to replace it before it gets worse. I have done a lot of searching and now don't know what timing chain kit to use for my replacement. I have found the following 2 sites that offer upgraded timing chain kits. The problem is, should I go with dual chain upgrade or stay with the single chain with upgraded chain guides?

http://www.lceperformance.com/22R-RE...-p/1015012.htm

http://www.doaracingengines.com/page13/page13.html

I have found different postings saying to use LCE kit because it will out last the engine and other posts saying to go with D.O.A. because it fixes the stock timing chain problem at half the cost of the dual setup. Does anyone have experience with either of these kits or can list the pros and cons of each?

Thanks.

I used ENGBLDR when I did mine a couple years back. Great prices, good customer support ("Ted" at ENGNBLDR). Go on ebay and search "ENGNBLDR". If you :search: you'll find a TON of positive feedback on them.

LCE makes good stuff but it's pricy.

Check out 92TOY's write up on his engine job - lots of great pics and advice.
