What size tire do i need

I have a 3 inch body lift on my 1990 extra cab right now i want to get a 4" suspension lift also along with wheel spacers. I know its way to much lift but i didnt put the body lift on i bought it that way and i dont know how i would take it off. I have 33x12.5r15 right now and they rub pretty good in some cases. I was wondering what size tire I would need for basically 7" of lift. thanks every one

with 7" of lift you can run 35's or larger but the larger ones may rub when flexed. You'll need to re-gear if you go bigger than 33's.
Get a tire that fits what you will use the truck for.

You could probably go 37's, with that much lift, but your front drivetrain will not be long for this world. With 35's you stand a chance it will hold up at least for a little while.

What in the world are you doing that you need that much lift?

Body lifts are not difficult to install or take off - just undo the body mount bolts, take out the spacer, and reinstall new (proper length) bolts.

Isn't there a guy on this forum running 38's with IFS? How does his last?

I think you'd probably want to go with 35's. 37's would be alot more show than go.
