what is a JDM Toyota?.....my 95 4runner is made in Japan not the U.S. does that make my 4runner a JDM? and I looking for a A340H tranny with t-case I see them a lot on ebay they are listed JDM low mileage but when I look at the ads they read that you will receive a tranny just like this one in the pic9and the pic shows every thing normal like my tranny) but in mice type they say that you will have to change the t-case? what's up with that why would I buy one it I have to change the t-case and other parts because of the right side drive.also with the A340H with intergrated t-case that thing is a mess to take apart just look at what happened with the last one I took apart

The terms 'JDM' and 'USDM' refer to the geographical area of sale and use, not manufacture.
A 4Runner built in Japan and equipped for use there would properly be called a JDM 4Runner.
A 4Runner built in Japan and equipped for use in the USA would be a USDM 4Runner.
