33x10.5-15 BFG A/Ts with stock 4.10s. the 88 22RE, even with it's second rebuild, cannot maintain speed on a hill.

on highways, i drive it floored in 4th. on a downhill it goes up to 70-75 at 4k. on an uphill it drops to 50-55 at 28k. then i gotta shift to 3rd.

5th is hibernating until i get 4.88s or 5.29s

ALL on 31X10.50 R15

Was on OE 4.10's
Just swapped to 4.56 from ADD v6 auto

prior to the swap, hills were a loosing battle
hills now, acceleration is easy in 5th with traffic

Might as well do an engine swap, lift it 6"s, put in 5.71s, and get some 37" tires. No really, 4.88s and 31s with a 22re should be perfect or 5.29s with 33s like camo said.

33's with stock 4.10 a little sluggish on acceleration. otherwise it behaves very nicely

33x12.5 with 4.88 little slow up here at 5000 to 7000ft but I can almost go 80 on the highway so long as I don't hit any hills. I'll probably go down to a 10.5 tire to reduce rotating mass and hopefully liven things up a bit.

86 4x4 22re 5spd, 5.29's and 30x9.50R-15's.

According to the radar sign, when my speedo says 70mph, I'm actually going 55.

55mph = 3000 rpm right now

I don't notice hills, up or down lol
