wealth of knowlege
i just recently acquired a 1984 toyota pickup, 4x4 with a 22r. just wanted to tell you guys about it, and ask a bunch of questions.
first off, it was a farm truck for its whole life. only has 102k on it, and there is virtually no rust on it. Which blew my mind considering i live in ohio.
anyway, it has a metal/wooden flat bed. the tail lights are stupid and barely work, so i was wondering if anyone knew the color wires that pertain to the turn signal back there?
another problem im had(besides blowing out a brake line) is that my heater core apparently blew. anitfreeze started pouring out of the firewall, where the box had filled up.(although, i had no leaks in the cab) my question is, how diificult is it to get to the heater core? is the dash hard to disassemble? it needs done either way because its apparent by the smell when i turn on the blower that mice lived in there...
the ride in the truck is bad. its REALLY rough. my goal is to have a daily driver and an off road capable machine. so after i change out the mud tires on this thing, what kind of shocks/suspension options do i have to make this a smooth on-road vehicle?
thanks for your time guys!
