ok i have a 88 exta cab yota with the 3.0 auto, and i really dont want to change the tranny and alll unless i have too. i have heard they have adptors for your bellhousing to keep my tranny and it will bolt up to the 4.3 so can anyone help me out and glide me the right wayy

 

hmm..I assume you are talking about the chevy 4.3 vortec?...or do you mean the 3.4 yota motor?...only I have the 5spd...interesting thought ...this thread I will watch for sure

i am wanting to start this swap but i dont want to get a new tranny and what not cause i have herd, tht you can buy the bellhousing adpt. to bolt to my tranny so the 4.3 will bolt up to stock yota tranny any help or more info on this would help me alot and where to find it at, and its a 88 extra cab with 3.0 auto tranny
