Can someone guide me in the right correction? I have a 1992 Toyota Pickup 4x4 reg cab with the 22RE. I'm in search of a transmission rebuild kit. I'm having trouble finding a kit, is this something I have to buy individual parts for at the dealer?
No, Marlin Crawler does not have a kit in stock for 92-95. Plus the listed price is $629.
From searching the forums, 92-95 has a bigger 23mm input bearing and different type of syncros compared to the 85-91 kits. On eBay, all the kits I find are for the W56 85-91. I did find one kit that says it is for 92-94 W55/56/58/59 and the description includes my pickup. eBay Link
However, when I search the manufacturer part number, I arrive to Zumbrota Drivetrain website and the description states application is for 4Runner W55, I'm assuming that is for the 2WD version. I messaged the eBay seller and they left me even more confused. See their response below.
Rockauto does not list a kit for W56.
So am I completely missing something? Sorry for the long post guys. Let me know if there is additional information I need to provide.
