Vortex Muffler

Hi guys.
Just wondering if anybody knows off the tops of their head what size the exhaust is on a 1993 3.0lt surf/4runner
I used my calipers to measure it and it said 2.3 inches so im assuming the internal bore is 2.25 inches?? Some bits were wider than others though???
I need to know so i can order up the right size muffler.
Has anybody fitted this muffler to their Surf before?
Thanks in advance.
Jay.

2-1/4'' should work and a muffler shop can expand it a little to fit better if need be

Thanks for that mate.
Just thinking......would it still be ok to get a 2.5" and reduce the pipe down to fit if need be? Or would it be better to to expand it to fit? Or does it not matter either way?
Im assuming any form of power gains will be the same anyway right?

Yeah same here. That extra 1/4" will should make all the difference. I just asked my misses and she agreed.
