Very rough idle

Hello!
So, not exactly sure if it's suppose to be this bad or not
Heres a couple of videos-
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ync64qhxmd...%20PM.mov?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/csqkz3mgia...%20PM.mov?dl=0

It's probably because that rod isnt bolted in, but not 100% sure.
Seems to be not as bad if I give it more gas.
Also, let me know if theres anything I can do to make it sound a bit "better" as right now it's not so great
Thanks in advance!

By carb adjustment do you just mean the idle screw on the carb? How do you do a valve adjustment?

You found this forum , using your phone, or computer, use it some more.

There are a dozen, or more, Youtube videos about 22r/22re valve adjustment, and carb adjustments as well. Some are better, and more informative than others.

There are are also, printed manuals like Chiltons, and the factory service manual itself, that can show you the way.
