V6 compatibility with 1990 4 cylinder

I was curious if the axles, shocks, brakes, etc. would work from a v6 in my 4 cylinder truck. Is it the basically the same truck with a different motor in it?
Thanks for any future replys

Axles and shocks, yes. Brakes are interchangeable but you need to swap the entire caliper and master cylinder over to get full benefit.

Differentials. v6 trucks/4Runners were typically geared lower, especially if they were automatics.
