URGENT and need the help...

I have a 86 pickup and i took the calipurs off to replace brake pads. yet i cant get the brakes to bleed and iv tryed to look for posts about this but everything iv found talks about the rear cylinders and how u should replace them...iv done the pump methods, and she just wont bleed.. i didnt touch the rears at all so it shouldnt have anything to do with them...? any sugestions would help thanxx.

First... why you disconnect the calipers to change pads?

And your rear lines should be isolated... but you should still bleed the rear pass. side first, the rear driver, front pass. then front driver... you need to try and cycle all the air out of the lines.

The front/rear isolation isn't as bulletproof as it should be. The LSPV ties the two systems together. Bleed the LSPV after the rear brakes, then bleed the fronts. Make sure you don't run the master cylinder dry in the process - cuz then you'll have to bleed that too.

Make sure the bleeder screws arn`t plugged with dirt, that would keep the brakes from bleeding.
