u joints

Can someone please tell me where i can pick up some good u joints for my 94 runner?

Go to your local autoparts store. If they have different kinds for different prices, get one of the more expensive ones.

Toyota u-joints will last much longer than most others that you'll pick up at a parts store as long as you keep them greased. Toyota u-joints are also more expensive. Your choice.

i bought some nice spicer u-joints from 4wheelsupply and havent had a problem with them i had them 4years now

Ha. That's funny... but in this case, I'd have to agree with Jay. I've tried cheap u-joints and have had to replace them again within 6 months.

a cheap solution is to get a cheap set and have them cryod

The big problem is, the cheap ones typically aren't set up to be greasable, and lack of grease is what kills a u-joint... although you can usually drill and tap a hole to install a grease fitting if you want to.

I got mine at car quest... IMO car quest or NAPA has some of the best parts available out of all the parts stores(except a dealership of course).I dont know if you have one where u live but i would check. Mine werent too expensive and there good quality and they have a zerk fitting on em to grease em.

I picked up some neapco u-joints with zerk fittings for cheap, i did a little research and heard good things about these, where would i be looking to find somwhere to cryo?
