ok so here goes i am totally stumped not the best with auto but i have read and done everything i can. sometimes my truck will start. sometimes it wont. recently just yesterday i pulled top of carb and sprayed the crap out of everything with carb cleaner. i replaced all the vacuum lines one by one so that i knew they were right. i also changed plugs wires cap and rotor. now it start up and ran yesterday after i cleaned everything on carb a few days ago. started up ran idle was WAY hi...but i drove it to the store and back it was hesitating a little and with my foot off gas it was pretty much going on its own not slowing down or speeding up just staying about 35 in 5th. hmm not sure anyways...a few things about the truck the fuel pump had gone bad i put one on a switch under the hood. so i get in switch it on the start truck. i did notice in the carb that the sight glass is full...so i thought maybe it flooded...this might ecplain why it starts when it wants...so i drained it let it air our to evaporate for a couple hours went out just sprayed some started fluid to see if it would fire...and nothign it still cranks but wont fire even with starter fluid. has spark from coil...im stumped any suggestions?
