transmisson swap

transmisson swap

i currently have a 88 toyota pu that is a 5 speed. i might be getting a 90 4 runner that is auto. is it a direct swap of the transmissions, besides the clutch pedals and other things. will it be a direct bolt up?

if they are both v6's i would think so, BUT i do not know for sure. hopefully one of the more experienced guys pipes up!

they are both v6's the only difference is one is a 1990 4 runner the other is a 1988 pu
