Red face Transmission flush

How much transmission fluid is needed for a 1994 Toyota 4 runner. I don't have my owners manual and I am trying to do a flush at home.

Hi
depending on milage and oil condition a full flush could kill the transmisson. i did mine using the passive metheod. drained two litres oil. replaced with new oil and drove a couple hundred miles repeated the process every 500-1000 miles until trans fluid looked like new. i used dexron 6 which has a cleaning action. too much too quick can cause all gunk in box to free up and block pipes and valves not a good idea. takes longer but no nasty suprises. have done 10k miles since change and box so much better. i understand torque converter can hold 5-6 litres and is a pain to drain.
