thinking about a 4 runner
hey guys im kinda new to the forum but i am thinking about tradeing my current jeep for a 1989 toyota 4 runner with 3 inches of lift and 33's. it is an automatic. it has minor rust above the rear wheel wells but it is only external sheet metal. what do u guys think

yeah what is the tranny and engine? youll obviously get biased opinions on here being a toyota board, but i think we can safely say that toyotas are much more solid than jeeps. after all, it is a toyota breaking the million mile mark.

it has IFS and 33'' and a 3inch old man emu lift kit. has about 160ooo on the chasis and about 30ooo on the motor. very minimal rust around rear fenders... normal toyota spot
any opions? i am physiced to get this truck if the deal goes thru

I'd go for it and change teh tranny to a manual!!!
Espeacially if your lookin to this things as a fun rig, most deff, 1st gen Runners are fun to play with!!!
