I recently bought a 01 4runner and it was stuck in 4wd .the guy I got it from put a new tcase actuator on it .I read your procedure to install it correctly . he did not do it right he had the shaft all the way out . so I got it on right but the lights are still blinking on the dash. I followed the instructions took the cover of put the plastic gear at the 3 oclock position but my question is what position is the heavy spring inside the houseing suppose to be in?? because with the small gear removed that part has also rotated
