swerving to left

swerving to left
My 99 4runner swerves to the left sometimes whenever I brake to stop. I was wondering if it's a rear brake adjustment problem or a seized caliper? Or do these trucks always do that since the V6 tires are wide? The previous owner said that he did an alignment 2 years ago before he sold it to me.
