Suspension/Steering Noise - Idler Arm?

the only bushing....lower part.
this is all I got from the idler arm..

You double posted that top pic, just FYI.
Also, the captions were a little confusing but it looks like you definitely found your problem!
Any lucking finding a rebuild kit or some new bushings?

Holy crap man that thing is toast. Your gonna be amazed at much better your rig is going to drive with that solid. If your idler arm is in that bad of shape I'd look at replacing some other front end parts soon. Tie rod ends and upper and lower balljoints also wear out over time.
I'd steer well clear of the Moog arm. I went that route once because of the greaseable zerk it had. I ran that thing for 6 mos and it was toast. I ended up going back to an OEM one and putting a Downey Idler Arm brace on it and never had anymore problems.

I totally agree with checking the other front-end components.
My tie rods and idler arm both blew out on my 2nd gen, I had Toyota replace the tie rod ends for me and I rebuilt the idler arm.
It felt like a new truck after that.

props to doin the rebuild though, i might just rebuild the one in my '86 now
