Suggested on-hand spare parts list for a '90 pickup
I have some ideas, but input is appreciated. I'm mostly looking for parts/tools that should be along with me on longer trips. And also just general things I should have my eye out for at the scrap yard. Thanks! - gfs

Here's what I keep in my tool kit.
1.8-16mm wrenches.
2. good socket set. 8-24mm
3. breaker bar.
4. rags.
5. antifreeze or water
6. gear lube
7. rtv
8. a good 6-1 screw driver with metric drive. Irwin makes a good one.
9. hammer
10. brake cleaner.

At least give us a hint here.
If your truck quits how long will be to your dead??
It like really depends where you travel
Other then extra hoses, coolant and belts and the tools to repair.
I am not really into doing repairs along the road.
Now If It is below zero and the heater core starts leaking it really sucks not having a defroster !! Going from Wyoming back to Pa.
Or the top radiator tank cracks now those where adventures
