Sequoia keeps stalling

My 2001 Sequoia keeps stalling when idling at stop lights ...any thoughts what this could be?

Only at lights? How 'bout idling in your drive. Will it stall only with your foot on the brake? Brake booster perhaps?

check ignition system, bad plug, deffective boot on coil--causing arcing (look for a white spot on the boot)

We have had some compressor seizures on those. Maybe its tight, and when it cycles on, load is too high, stalls the engine? Will it do it if the AC is off and the vent is moved to feet? (keep in mind, AC runs in the 2 defrost positions, even if the AC is turned off) if it is the AC, you can unplug the pressure switch on the AC plumbing to disable it till you get it fixed.
