I hate the leather...
It's hard and does NOT age/ break-in well... At all! Sad, b/c look in any junk yard at an old 60's 70's Mercedes and the seats will look almost new.
You see them with holes in them all the time...
Go sit in one.
PS, doubt they'll swap... Worlds apart, a Landcruiser and a HiLux...
But both have out of this world quality.

Can't say if they will or not, b/c I havent tried...
But LC's have a low pan/ high "sitting in a chair" seating posture. Where the HiLux is more like "sitting on the floor" b/c your feet are more out in front of you.
Plus, 70 Series have suspension seats that take up lots of room... Something I'm almost sure was passed on to the 80, only in different markets.

Try'em if you want... Don't take my word for it.
If you've got bucket seats, pull the P-side and go look at them. Tell the guy you want to see if they fit, then just throw the P-side one in and see if it fits.

Hey, you've got a 2Wd...
EVERY 2WD seat I've ever seen was a good 1 to 2" LOWER than any of the 4WD's.
I love the view out of a 4WD... A 2WD is just awful and way too low.
You will LOVE the 4Runner seats.
PS, you can get a Tacoma bench or buckets too.

Dude, every Lexi or LC that was leather I've ever been in, the leather was thick and the seats were vary hard.
You'd think they're horse hide the way they're stiff, but I see pics all the time of holes in the seats.
2 of my close friends have leather shod 80's. The 3rd one has fabric.
I'd have an 80 too but the only chink I see in the 80 is the highway MPG... Lovely rides, but you couldn't give me one... Or I'd have to get another job just to feed it

hmmm one thing toyota failed at. but i also saw a posting for a pair of 94 4runner buckets is this a better bet for fit and finish... the poster said they were a little dirty but the seat condition is good. but they are blue so seat covers would definitely be in order as my interior is brown
