Rough Ride 2002 4Runner
Just purchased 2002 4Runner 2 Wheel Drive. 88,000 with new tires and brakes. One owner said only thing he'd do was replace the rear shocks. I took it to Les Schwab and they said everything is solid... including the shocks. A co-worker told me about a rear spring mod that would improve the ride comfort. The current ride is rough and bumpy. Can anyone provide some feedback or recommendations? Is there a mod available? Should I do the shocks and the mod? We're planning a 2000 mile trip and the current rough ride would make for a long trip. Thank you for your time.

Not Comparing...
I'm not comparing the ride to anything. The ride for the rear passengers is uncomfortable and I'd simply like to approve the ride. I was asking for advice on whether or not anyone thought new shocks would improve the ride or would it be a waste of money. A co-worker mentioned something about an upgraded rear spring that could/would approve the ride. Thank you for your response.

Just what is causing the rough ride ??
Does your Suspension Bottom out .
Is it to soft so it is always bouncing hard to keep on the road
I have no idea just how Sharp the Techs might be at Les Schwab since I have no idea what they are
You need to figure out what is causing the ride to be bad for the rear passengers
