Hey guys, I am new to the toyota parts thing, I have been around cars all my life but I am new to these trucks.
I would like to know what gear comes in the back of a 91 v6 4x4 truck, and what size I need. My truck tachs at 2500 at 60mph, to me that seems high but like I said I dont have much experience. One other problem is that the truck is hard to get out of 4x4 because the back seems geared lower than the front, this is what led me to believe that I need a higher gear in the back and was hoping that would fix the four wheel drive. Thanks for any help. It's greatly appreciated.

It's unlikely you have different gearing front to rear. You would have great difficulties while driving in 4WD as the fronts and rears would be trying to go different speeds. Do you have manual hubs? Are you backing up 10-20 feet before trying to disengage 4WD? That may help.

 

you can get 33s and 488gears or if you want bigger tires than 529gears
