So I now have a family and I need to use the 4runner for other things and tired of the complaints about bounce or stiffness.

I want to make this a luxury ride. What do I do? I want it to ride like 2012 runner right off the floor. Where do I start?

It's a '99 with 180k - the back does not sag - but is a little bouncy. You feel potholes more than I think you should.

Please help!!!

 

Replace your worn out 180K suspension.

AKA leaf springs, shocks, bushings (mostly in the front).

Read reviews on which shocks suits your needs.

Tire size also plays a part in this. Low profile tires will fill every single bump so a fatter profile would be better. But not too big to sacrifice MPG. Also tire pressures.
