Replaced shocks, now rear end sags MORE
I picked up my first 4runner about 3 weeks ago, and am doing some routine maintenance, which included replacing shocks. The shocks were oem - I'm assuming they are the original that came on the rig.
I replaced the front and it made a big difference. Much better handling and response....
So, the I replaced the rear shocks.... and to my disappointment the sag looks worse!!!! I measured from the top of the tire to the fender trim before and after, and gained about 3/4" initially(5 1/4" at first, 6" afterward), but now it has dropped about 1/2" from the original measurement (sitting about 4 3/4" now). The new shocks were oem length, but now I'm wondering if the back end had a slight lift.
Any help or ideas? What should I check next? What's the best way to measure if there was a lift? Thanks!

if your not to worried about fit, you can get oem dodge 2500 rear shocks...you have to remove the bushing and replace with a spring bushing..kinda ghetto fab but their 4-6" longer?? cant remember where i saw this... and still cheap...ive got a 2500 and i did the shocks on it recently soooo i had my leftovers
