Recommended (or best) Manual Locking Hubs

I have AUTO Hubs on my 1989 4Runner SR5 3VZE 5-speed and am thinking about switching to manual hubs.

What do you recommend Aisin, Warn or something else?

Thanks

Aisin.

Strongest, easiest to find parts for, and our very own WaskillyWabbit sells parts AND the conversion kit you will need to switch from Auto hubs to manual

Are these decent instructions for replacing the hubs?

Your 'Runner looks almost exactly like mine!

I have Warn manual hubs on mine, but only because the previous owner swapped them on. He even said he should've waited and gotten OEM Aisin ones, but hey, I'm not complaining. At least I have manual hubs.

I have no problem with Warn Hubs all my Toyota Vehicles with manual Hubs use them .

I had more problems with the Aisian hubs but most were caused before I got the vehicles.

I have never had any come loose in all the years I have been using them.

What ever works.

There seem to be Aisin hubs floating around for sale - usually around the neighborhood of $100 or less.

It seems the Wab Fab's are restored to a near perfect condition.
