2000 Rav4 2wd 5 speed. During accelleration (esp. out of powerband) results in a shudder or hesitation. Thought it was possibly a worn out clutch disc at first. Check engine light recently revealed restricted flow of EGR valve, that was removed and cleaned, also cleaned was the hole entering intake manifold, pipe leading to egr valve did not look obstructed. Upon startup after cleaning, check engine was no longer on. Please give me an idea of what to check next. Thanks in advance

 

well, just took it for a longer drive and the check engine light is back on. Is there something else associated with the egr valve that needs to be gone through?
