Rack and Pinion on Early IFS

I was wondering what you guys think of swapping in a Rack And Pinion Steering on a 2nd Gen IFS , most newer trucks are running this setup , consider a beefed up rack and pinion of a same size and weight truck. Do you guys think this will alleviate Idler and loose steering box "feel" .. i have a 91 4runner with 4" Bracket Lift, and 3" Body Lift on almost new 35" MTS , recently replaced all Ball Joints , Control Arms Bushings and steering components, replaced body mounts and have fairly new Shocks all around.. i would like a more "Safer" driving experience at higher speeds 50 to 70 MPH , if interested look at a Nissan Frontier Rack and Pinion Design and its pretty much something that could be Fabricated in to our toyota frames, i even think that the added mounting points of such item will reinforce the front end when suspension is lifted.. what you guys think?

I can`t see why you feel that would give you any safer of a driving experience on a vehicle lifted that high. Perhaps the illusion of what you seek.

I was thinking of going the other way and going to the steering box style system on a newer truck.

Any type of fabrication can be done with enough money
