So I take my 93 22re 4x4 to get my etest so i can buy my new sticker and she flunks both HC ppm categories. So i read up on their possible problems and one is timing. So I pull my plugs to check how they look, and they're a little white so I just swapped em out and set the gap. While at the store picked up a timing light to see where I'm at. Find out I'm about a degree advanced so I adjusted it back to 5degrees while having the TE1 and E1 terminals jumped. My main question is that when i take out my trust paperclip from the terminals the timing jumps to about 7 degrees, is this right?
