So today I popped the hood and was looking aroung and found a plug that is brown and has 2 wires going into it. white w/red stripe and greenw/red stripe. does anyone have any ideas what this would go to? there are some more plugs just hanging by the a/c but the a/c is not hooked up and the canister that is suppose to be by the a/c(to the left and behind it) isn't there. I have had this truck for a while but haven't had time to drive it or do alot to it. it is a 22re with 5 spd. , 4x4. I have given it a tune up(plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor ,fuel filter) and it still runs like crap. I am not a mechanic by any means. I know the basics and to me it seems like it is running on 3 cyl. I'm going to try to get some pics and video of it running and post it. Thanks for the help.

 

yeah, my 85 22re is running on 3 cyls also even after a complete tune up including new injectors!

 

try taking a pic of it, that would help with identifying the mystery plug
