Quality of new grill from e-bay??

Hey guys thought I would see if anyone has ordered any aftermarket grill/bezel pieces off of one of the repro parts sites?? If so how was it cheap thin crappy etc? I have a 91 4wd P/U and my grill is cracked behind the chrome so it looks wavy and im OCD so its not gonna fly. My headlight bezels are good aswell as my emblem. So I just need the main grill. The price is scarin me because it is so cheap but dealer prices scare me even more!!! Thanks Disco.

I got a bumper, grille, and signal lights off ebay about 5 years ago..The grille is still in great shape, but the clips that held it on didn't really hold it..I never liked those kind of clips. Fixed that problem with some small black well placed zip ties . It didn't come with a emblem, but I got one at the dealer for like $25.

I wouldn't recommend the cheap bumpers, mine already has some surface rust on it.

Yea I figured they might be good if you were going to paint a solid color but dangit, well Mayby some trips to the yard or dealer. I don't even really want to know how much it is from the dealer!

My eBay grille also broke almost all of the clips. The chrome is also flaking in some areas. Plan on painting it black eventually anyways.

Yea it's mostly the chrome well I guess it's almost a chrome coating that I would think would be cheap, I just bought all the replacement clips from the dealer due to taking my grille off they all broke due to age, went to the junk yard today and I think it's gonna be real hard to find one in real good shape.
Well I will keep checking all the classifieds and see what might show up.
