Q about timing belt parts

Hi, no response to my last post so have a new-ish question. First, background: was gifted a 2001 Tundra 2UZ FE 8cyl with 100k miles. Timing belt was never changed. I ordered a kit on ebay, supposed to be Aisin kit but every part except the water pump was in a generic white box saying, 'made in China, OEM quality' No brand name. The water pump was in a plastic bag, on the small round opposite the vanes it said: HSB, WB1735100 and on the side: 125-068 L07 1392. Do Aisin parts have their name on the parts anywhere? I don't feel comfortable using any of the Chinese parts. The timing belt did not have the timing marks on it. I have read posts that indicate the original parts are often better than replacements, even with 100K on them. I'm thinking maybe I can just get a Gates Timing Belt at auto zone and put that on, and leave all other components on if they are still looking and working good, and maybe change all in 40-50K miles or, if there is noise or a leak. I will be changing the rad hoses and new fluid. Or should I try to send the kit back at my expense and order an Aisin-branded WP from another vendor? And does Aisin also manufacture the other components of a TB changeout?

Looks like you got scammed.
Can you provide a link to the Ebay auction item you purchased???
If the bearings on your existing parts are smooth with no play, you might be able to just replace the belt and run awhile.

I'd return. eBay lets buyers return purchases for legit reasons, and "not as described" is about as legit as it gets.
eBay is a dicey source for finding oem parts. Gotta scrutinize the seller closely.

I thought Toyota had the "13568-xxxxx" part number printed on the oem belt, but not positive about that.
Bad news is Gates timing belt is probably sourced out of China, too.
