pressure plate question

pressure plate question

so like a dumbie i pulled the pressure plate off the flywheel today with out marking them. does any one know what holes the pins are suppose to go in. any help appreciated

i think they can only go one one way cant they and if they can go on more then one does it matter cause if it does i didnt do it on my truck and all i did was rotate the plate till it fits and it runs fine and as smooth as it did before

Well it fits 2 ways and i think it matters. Its about the only thing i can think was wrong with my replacement.

as long as the pins match the holes in the pressure plate it does not matter.

Now you can`t put the turbo clutch on the regular flywheel as the pins are different

If it needed to go on only one way there would be stickers and a big warning !!

I have never seen any of the like in all the years .

Clutch disc well that can get put on the wrong way

haha i didnt know that either untill my grampa said something about it when i got my truck all put back together and trying to start but i guess i got it in right cause everything works

ok good. I've been reading and watching videos for hours and hours trying to determine if it matters. I can't see how the dynamics of the flywheel would require a specific mounting of the two way to mount it. It round, the flywheel rotates so there is no top or bottom, and the pins on the flywheel are all evenly spaced. This has helped me with my other thread about my install so I hope others get something from it as well. Thanks Wy.
