Power steering pump bearing

Power steering pump bearing
I had an issue with my power steering pump on my 1997 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L. (The date of manufacture was 9/96, which actually. After on these pumps, apparently they use a different pump after 1/97,)I tried to buy a couple of new ones from various auto parts stores but they are Chinese remanned pieces of crap. The cases in all of them were so far off that I could not get the bolts in, so I tried to rebuild it myself with a seal kit. (Toyota wanted $550 for a new one.) I accidentally messed up the bearing when I removed it. I was wondering if any one knows where I can get this bearing, and if anyone has a diagram for reassembly of this pump. I took it apart and the bearing was in front of the oil seal, but it seems to me like the bearing should be behind the oil seal, a diagram would clear thispart up. Also, if and when I can get a bearing, can I just pound it on with a socket, or do I need to have a shop press it on for me? Thanks.

I finally got a similar size bearing from Napa, although it is a ball bearing, and I believe the stock bearing was a roller bearing. I pounded it on with huge socket and the pump seems to work well for now at least. I hope it lasts at least 10000 miles...
