Thumbs up One of those not that question again question

Ok so I read through the Toyota FAQ & Newbie Modification Information thread as well as searched this and a few other sites and cant find what im looking for. So i'll just ask and risk getting yelled at lol.

1. I know on the danna 30/35 in my yj there is a recomended max tire size of 33 before destruction is almost certain. Is there such a rule for the 8's under my 84 yota?
2. I know its best to put the lift on then check out things like brake lines and shafts etc. . . but im on the other side of the world at the moment so I cant and I want answers NOW lol At what point does the drive shaft, brake lines, and steering need to be lengthend?

Oh its a 84 4x4 pickup 22r stock

Rear axles will handle 37-38s stock. Fronts too if you drive nice but best to get 30 splines up front if you are going to wheel it.

How big do you want to go with the tires? The front is more of an issue. I had one of the techs at Randy's ring and pinion tell me that 35's with open diff was about the max before I'd start seeing broken birfields. That was his opinion and that's the setup I've had for ~10yrs with no broken birfs. Any lift = extend brakelines. You should be able to get 3-4" lift befor you "have to" extend drivelines. With that lift you will want at least a drop drag link but high steer is a WAY better option. I need to do it myself.

Thanks guys!
I was thinking 35s (most likely w/ 5.39's) for now. With 4" and a BFH as need on the pinch welds.
Whats the factory splin count? or does it vary?
