Oil Pan Removal

I'm working on a 1993 4x4 22RE p/u and need to remove the oil pan. Can I unbolt the front diff at the 3 points - 2 vertical bolts and 1 horizontal bolt and lower the diff to remove the oil pan or do I need to remove those 3 bolts plus disconnect the driveshaft and the vacuum ADD lines? BTW, it has IFS.

Thanks

You might be able to squeeze it out. I'd just drop the whole diff to give you room to work

no, i just dropped the diff till the axles were on the lower control arms and worked the pan down and towards the rear of the truck, then i unbolted the pick up tube and removed it for cleaning.
