Greetings, I have a 2009 Tacoma 4cyl. I was given a couple of new YZZD3 Toyota factory oil filters for the V6. My question is will they interchange with the YZZD1 which is listed for the 4cyl. Has anyone ever swapped them for one another? Thanx, Bisley

 

I believe they are the same thread and diameter size. The d3 is like may 3/4" taller than the D1. You might want to check out some of these threads and decide for yourself if it's fine to use:

Thanks for the info...I looked back over on some receipts for oil changes at the local Toyota and both filters have been shown as used....don't know why I didn't do this earlier? Again, thanks for the quick replies. Bisley
