O2 sensor - where is it

Greetings all,

My first time here, trying to find the sensor on my exhaust. It is the Bank 1 Sensor 1 on the exhaust before the cat. I have looked and looked, dealer wants $300 - the sensor is a fraction of it. Where is it?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Hi, Welcome to YT.
Please add your specifics about your vehicle to your signature: like 1995 4Runner V-6...that way people know what truck/engine you are talking about.

Try the Service manual link in my signature. It has a got links to several Toyota Service Manuals.

The sensor will be on the exhaust pipe just where the downpipe turns to become horizontal, about in line with the rear side of the front wheel well, or the front of the front door. It sticks out of the pipe pointing towards the middle of the truck.
