Not getting fuel

So I just bought a 91 4x4 with 22re and was able to drive it for only a day and a half. It ran like a champ. I checked my oil and it was low so I filled it up and now it wont start. I checked for spark and it looked good. Sprayed a little starting fluid in it and it fired up and died. That told me no fuel. Couldn't hear pump so I installed new pump and still nothing. I tried the relay bypass in the diagnostics box and still no pump. Hook pump straight to battery works fine but still wont run. I need to be back on the road again so does anyone have any ideas?

EFI fuses? I would still check the fuel filter. Is it a pick up or 4 runner?

I forgot to mention I already changed that. I am getting fuel to that point for sure when I hook the pump straight to the battery.

Its a pickup and I checked the EFI fuses and the open circuit relay and the main relay. I also propped open the air flow flap thing so that it would tell the fuel pump to work but still nothing. Im lost.

check the very bottom picture in this thread, this might help, might not, I myself am still a somewhat of a newbie, so I feel your pain when it comes to not having a running yota and get stuck. I will keep searching for ya and hopefully help you get this figured out.

If there is a higher authority on the EFI fuses/relay and fuel pump problems feel free to chime in. Thanks.

Thanks yotafreak81. I will have to open my relay up and see if that's my problem. I appreciate the info. I will let you know if that fixes my problem.

Update on my problems. I called the Toyota dealership service tech and told him my situation. He said if will start with starting fluid then I could rule out any relays. He said to start checking the wiring harnesses around the ECU and under the passenger seat. Come to find out I don't have power in the wiring harnesses. Just need to trace down where I am losing power.
