Still have the no start up first thing in the morning.Sometimes,click..click sometimes it cranks but dosen't start..this morning no nothing..then it starts up after turning the key about 10 times.All the lights worked this morning after changing the main relay at drivers kick panel yesterday.Always starts without trouble later in the day.This is a marine battery 500 amps at 32 degrees,405 amps.Tests out good on the battery.Could it be a clutch or igntion switch?Why does it start after inital failure?This on my 86 Toyota 4x4 5 speed 2.4 EFI.Dome light still out,but it's corroded inside.

I had this issue and it was the contacts in the starter itself. Was cheap to fix..getting the starter off a 3.0 is a huge PIA though even with a body lift.
