Unhappy newbie transmission question plz help

Hello there,
I just got 95 4runner, i noticed after i got it that sometimes o/d was flashing and it feels like the transmission is slipping or something because it revs really high before it goes to first and each time i come to a complete stop it would do it again. When i checked the tranny fluid was low, so i tuned up and flushed the entire thing..it was working fine and then today after i took it out for a drive on the highway the same thing happened without the o/d flashing ?! fluids r good no leaks nothing..so i am not sure what the issue is and i hope it is not requiring rebuilding the tranny
thanks

Sounds like it may be a bad TPS to me, you can test it with a voltage meter. That would explain the idle surges.

wouldnt the temp tps only matter when you are at idle mine has started reving up before it shifts randomly it is a a34oh fluid has been changed and is fine o/d flassed a severed or shorted solenoid wire code at one point and it also does not want to shift at all until at operating temp are all these problems related and kamelio does this sound like your truck at all
