Cool beans! I love turbo-charged anything. Trying to figure a good street-able turbo system for my 3RZ. Gotta be pieced together because I can't afford the $2,500 LCE Performance kit yet... And it's non-intercooled...

Did you piece together your turbo system? Or did you intercool a 22RTE?

A build up thread is needed....

Sweet intercooler setup. Wish I did that to my old 87 pickup with 22rte - I really noticed a power gain when driving at night or cool mornings vs heat of the day.

As for the lift, I don't see any giveaways for suspension lift parts - just the body lift. If you removed it, it looks like you may have to redo your intercooler setup? It's up to you at this point. Good luck!

inverted shackles

I have a 87 4runner that came with 4" blocks. I just replaced with skyjacker 4- 6" lift soft ride and now I have a problem my shackles invert causing the spring to sit on the frame. Any info would be great I'm stuck and dont know what to do

Unhappy

I'm still new too leaf springs but, i haven't done them yet cause i don't have a good welder for the job. Cause i think i'm gonna have too redo the shackle mounts if i'm right or somthing. So i really can't help you brother.
So your leaf springs are not bolted too the diff. On the right and left? How can it touch the frame? Sorry still new too this and looking at my stock ones? Did you install them right? I guess if i take mines off and install them upside down it would touch the frame, but what is holding the diff and axle? I'm lost.

What I mean is the shackle is resting on the frame by being inverted. So if you look at your shackle it should be hanging towards the back of the truck. Mine is laying flat towards the front of the truck on the frame. Hope this makes more since 😁

No they are still mounted diff. What I mean is that the shackle is inverted laying on the frame. So if you look at yours, your shackles are slightly pointed towards the back or your truck mine are inverted towards the front laying parallel with the frame on the frame. Wish I had pics that would help lol

If I'm understanding this, your shackles invert towards the FRONT of the truck? Meaning the springs are to short? Because even if you had long shackles, they would have to be 12", I would guess, to invert forwards. And then only when the spring drops. Start your own thread and give us pics.
