I am new to the forum and have a 93 4Runner 3.0 automatic 4wd it has cooling system problem. I have a leak coming from the water outlet. There are three bolts attaching it to the water pump. The leak appears to be coming from the top screw . I took the water outlet off took the thermostat out scraped the water pump side and the water outlet side. This particular screw when I was taking the nut off the entire stud came out. After cleaning the stud off and inspecting it the threads appeared to be messed up at the location where it would be tight and there was some play in the nut put everything back together and had the same problem. Could anyone tell me what size, thread, and length, that these three studs are and where to get them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Ross

Take the old one to ace hardware. That place is the best for metric ANYTHING. I practically lived there while doing an engine swap. I believe it's a M10 1.25 or 1.50 thread. Just show it to one of them. They will take care of you. Don't waste your time at a large hardware store. Let me know if you have trouble getting one, I have a few.
